We are all going through a tough time all over the world. Novel Corona Virus or Covid-19 has challenged the human race irrespective of their race, gender, age, religious belief, social status. This is the time when we have to not only display our scientific and medical progression but we must show our strength of humanity. It’s the time when our thinking, our behaviour as humans are to be tested. Across all the boundaries, all the ethnicities, all the social and religious practises, all the economical structures, we are hit by a common enemy and to win this, our unity is the most important factor for us in this fight.
Across the globe all the Governments are doing their best to handle this tough situation. But, we must remember every country whether it if first world country or a third world country, cannot make progression to the greater good unless the citizens of that country take active participation in it. A country with responsible citizens, a country with compassionate citizens, is a country of future. And in that perspective, India is doing very good job till date.

There are various individuals and charitable organisations are working relentlessly beside the Govt. officials in various sections of our society to deal with this pandemic and ANUBHAB from Chakdaha is no exception. Anubhab is a Public Charitable Trust which generally works with the financially backward students to support their education and for senior people, they look forward to supporting the health sector since 2010. When Covid-19 struck India, Anubhab started to produce Hand Sanitizers (as per the WHO standards) and distributed those among the people who were working in essential services like the banks, police stations etc.
Till date, Anubhab has successfully produced and distributed 350 units of hand sanitizers (30ml and 60ml bottles combined).
But, Anubhab didn’t stop there. On first and second week of April, 2020 Anubhab handed over the scholarship cheques among the shortlisted students maintaining the social distancing protocol and food grains as well. But, then Anubhab finally decided to start a community kitchen, for many households don’t have fuel to cook their foods with the food grains they had somehow managed to get via various Govt. initiatives and charitable organizations. From 22nd April, 2020, Anubhab is successfully running its community kitchen where everyday almost 300 meals are cooked, packed and distributed across Chakdaha.
Anubhab is working with finesse where every action is pre-planned. The process of buying materials for the meals starts early morning by a dedicated team for this purpose. Then the cook and his helpers start cooking and within 10:30 am they finish their cooking. From, 10:30 am the packing team starts their process of packing and around 11:30 am the delivery teams start delivering the food packets according the list made by the management team. This process would not have been possible without the spontaneous participation of the members of Anubhab where 18 to 80, people of every age take active participation. Anubhab is also very fortunate to get the financial help from people across India who are happily donating in this noble cause according to their ability. People are not only helping with money, but also with sacks of rice, vegetables, their labour and time. This initiative of Anubhab is also covered by a local news channel when they visited the office of Anubhab.
Anubhab is a Public Charitable Trust. Anubhab has been donating scholarships since 2010. This year Anubhab has come up with Anubhab Student Beneficiary Family to help more students in Chakdaha in terms of their education. With this step, Anubhab has undertaken the mission to take care of the students of Chakdaha in every possible way. Any students from class 1 to 12 can apply for the facility of Free Coaching and getting Free Educational Articles. Applications can be submitted via Anubhab Office.
